New data and analysis of the devastating impact of one year of war in Gaza on the labour market and wider economy in the Occupied Palestinian Territory is to be released by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
A Year of War in Gaza: Impacts on Employment and Livelihoods in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, is the 5th Bulletin in this series.
The Bulletin presents new estimated unemployment rates and contractions in real GDP across the Gaza Strip and West Bank. The publication will be available in both English and Arabic and will be accompanied by a press release.
The new Bulletin, its data and findings are under embargo until Thursday 17 October 2024 at 08:00 UTC/GMT (10:00 Central European Time 11:00 Middle East Standard Time).
