Images of Walkerville robbery suspect released

Police are investigating a robbery at a Walkerville service station overnight.

Police have released images of a suspect involved in a robbery at a Walkerville service station on Sunday.

Just before midnight on Sunday 1 August, police were called to a service station on North East Road after a hold up alarm was activated by a staff member.

A man wearing a facemask entered the service station armed with a knife and demanded cash from the console operator.

He stole cash and cigarettes before leaving southeast on Burlington Road on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 173cm tall with an average build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black baseball cap, light grey tracksuit pants, black sneakers and a light grey face mask.
