The School of Pharmacy remembers Edith Goodmaster.
The School of Pharmacy remembers Edith Goodmaster who passed away on July 24th, 2023. Edith served on the Connecticut Pharmacy Board and participated in UConn Pharmacy School activities, she was also a big fan of UConn women's and men's basketball. Edith also formed the Edmund E. Goodmaster, Sr. Memorial Scholarship in memory of her husband, Edmund ('33) who passed away in 1984. The scholarship is awarded annually to a fourth-year professional pharmacy student from the Greater Bridgeport area for high achievement in scholarship and extracurricular activities.
"Edith Goodmaster was a huge supporter of the UConn School of Pharmacy," says School of Pharmacy dean, Phil Hritcko. "She loved our pharmacy students and was always willing to show her support through attending events, such as our professionalism and commencement ceremonies, and representing the Connecticut Board of Pharmacy. Edith will definitely be missed!"
