Major Crime and Western District CIB are investigating a suspicious death at Welland this morning.
About 1.30am Wednesday 10 April emergency services were called to Barrpowell Street after reports a man was unresponsive on the roadway. Witnesses attempted to render assistance to the man, but sadly he died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing, Major Crime officers, Crime Scene Investigators and Western District detectives will remain at the scene this morning. Barrpowell Street and Musgrave Avenue are currently closed.
