Increase To Application Fee For 2024-25 1 July

From today, 1 July 2024, the application fee has increased to $87.20.

The fee applies to dismissal, general protections, bullying and sexual harassment at work applications made under sections 365, 372, 394, 773 and 789FC of the Fair Work Act 2009.

There is no fee to make an application to deal with a sexual harassment dispute under section 527F of the Fair Work Act.

Also effective from today, the high income threshold in unfair dismissal cases has increased to $175,000 and the compensation limit is now $87,500 for dismissals occurring on or after 1 July 2024.
