The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 32-year-old man in relation to an indecent assault that occurred in Alice Springs on Wednesday.
Around 10.00am on Wednesday, a woman was allegedly indecently assaulted by a man unknown to her in a shopping centre in the Alice Springs CBD. The victim attended the police station to report the incident a short time later.
Police commenced investigations and at 5.45pm located and arrested the 32-year-old man in relation to the incident.
He was charged with Indecent Touching or Act, appeared in court yesterday, and has been further remanded in custody to appear in court on 24 January.
