Child Protection and Investigation Unit detectives have charged a Redlynch man with multiple child sex offences.
On November 10, detectives executed a search warrant and seized electronic devices.
The 35-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with three counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16 and two counts of possessing child exploitation material.
He is scheduled to reappear at the Cairns Magistrates Court on January 19.
Police are working with the Department of Education Queensland and investigations are ongoing.
