A community information session will be held at the Ebor Sports Ground this Friday from 6pm, to assist residents impacted by the Bees Nest bushfire.
Emergency service personnel and community service providers will be available at the session to provide up-to-date information and answer residents' questions.
Organisations represented at the event will include the Rural Fire Service, Local Land Services, BlazeAid, Red Cross, Family & Community Support and Council.
Armidale Regional Council Mayor Simon Murray, who will also attend the meeting, said the sessions were highly valuable in helping communities deal with the trauma of the bushfire and assist the recovery process.
"While it's unfortunately only a matter of months since we went through this process with the Tingha community for the February fires, the public meetings for that community were certainly integral to the healing and recovery," Councillor Murray said.
"They offer an essential opportunity for face-to-face advice, ensure people stay connected with available assistance and provide the support of bringing together people with shared experiences.
