You might of heard the good word - the Victorian Labor government has confirmed the Borough of Queenscliffe as a successful recipient of the first round of the 100 Neighbourhood Batteries Program.

All these questions and more will be answered at the information session and Q&A on April 10 at 6 pm, Town Hall, 50 Learmonth Street, Queenscliff.
Hosted by the Distributed Energy team at Mondo, this information session will share how the neighborhood batteries will assist us to achieve objectives in our Climate Emergency Response Plan.

The community battery program will improve local energy network reliability and remove constraints – keeping the lights on during power outages and allowing for more households to take up rooftop solar. The program will deliver funding to install four neighbourhood batteries for the communities of Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff.
