Police are appealing for public assistance to locate witnesses to a scooter crash in Wentworthville in which a woman died.
About 3.25am on Sunday 31 December 2021, emergency services were called to the intersection of Wentworthville Avenue and Binalong Road, responding to reports a Suzuki scooter had hit a road divider.
A Girraween woman, aged 20, sustained critical head injuries and later died at Westmead Hospital.
A 25-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command attended the scene and commenced inquiries.
Police are asking anyone with information about the crash – or anyone with dashcam vision – to contact Parramatta Police or Crime Stoppers.
Investigations are continuing.
