Ingenia Holiday Parks Show: Sausage Dogs, Stunts & Fun

Sydney Family Show

Families across Sydney are set for an unforgettable school holiday experience as the Ingenia Holiday Parks Sydney Family Show returns this weekend, opening on Saturday, 12 April and running through to Sunday 27 April 2025.

Held at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, the show offers 16 jam-packed days of non-stop entertainment, carnival rides, showbags, live performances, and unique animal encounters.

The Ingenia Holiday Parks Sydney Family Show continues its tradition of being the most affordable and accessible school holiday event in Sydney. The show provides families with a full day out, delivering exceptional value for money.

Among this year's headline attractions is the ever-popular Paw Patrol Stage Show, running from 12 to 22 April. Children can watch Ryder and the pups come to life on stage with two daily shows at 11:30am and 2:00pm, followed by meet and greets at 12:30pm.

From 23 to 27 April, beloved characters Bluey and Bingo take over the stage in a lively interactive experience, with shows at 11:30am and 1:30pm, and scheduled meet and greets available to pre-book at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. These family-favourite shows are included in the ticket price, ensuring entertainment is accessible to all.

Also new this year is the Monster Sports Jam Inflatable Arena, where kids can challenge themselves on a giant inflatable obstacle course 280 metres long. This high-energy addition is perfect for active kids and is accessible through ride wristbands or coupon packs.

Returning favourites include the heart-stopping BMX Freestyle stunt shows, scheduled three times daily, and the always-popular Reptile Encounters, where visitors can get up close and personal with some of Australia's most fascinating native creatures.

Traditional carnival amusements also return in full force, with classic games like Laughing Clowns and Smash-a-Dolly, alongside thrill rides, Dodgem Cars, and the vintage-style Cup and Saucer. The Easter Basket Zone will once again delight young showgoers as they collect festive goodies in an egg-citing scavenger hunt.

Adding to the pawsome fun are two canine-themed feature days. On Sunday, 13 April, the show will celebrate Dachshund Day, drawing together hundreds of dachshunds and their proud owners. With highlights to include the much-loved sausage dog races, best-dressed competitions, and plenty of wagging tails.

Then on Sunday, 27 April, the show will host the Greyhounds As Pets (GAP) NSW Adoption Day, a heartwarming event where more than 60 greyhounds will be available for meet and greets and potential adoption.

Rugby league star Ryan Papenhuyzen will make a special appearance to support the cause. With adoption fees reduced to just $75 (normally $250), the event also includes expert advice, family-friendly activities like face painting, and information for anyone considering adopting.

The Show's Event Director, Britt Osborne, said the event offers families an experience like no other. "The Show is all about fun, value and creating joyful memories during the school holidays," she said.

"We've curated a program packed with entertainment to suit every family – whether you're there for the animals, the characters, the rides, or just a great day out."

The Ingenia Holiday Parks Sydney Family Show is open daily from 10am to 5pm on weekends and across the Easter long weekend, and from 10am to 4pm on weekdays.

Tickets can be pre-purchased online.
