Inquiries are continuing after a 25-year-old man was stabbed at Riverwood this morning tomorrow, NSW Police say.
About 4.30am, emergency servi8ces were called to Shenstone Road after reports a man had been stabbed.
On arriving they found a 25 year old man with a number of wounds to his upper body.
He was assessed on site by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to hospital for further treatment.
The man’s injuries are not considered life threatening.
Initial inquiries suggest the 25-year-old had awoken to investigate a sound at the front door.
A crime scene was established and this being examined by specialist personnel.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
