The third installation of the City of Hobart's art boxes InsideOUT brings a fresh artistic experience to Franklin Square from now to 27 October 2024.
This installation, titled Phenomenal Bodies, is the work of Alicia King, an interdisciplinary artist based in the Derwent Valley, Lutruwita/Tasmania.
The installation, located between the fountain and the pathway to Treasury in Franklin Square, will feature large mountain-like forms, steel strands with crystalline growths, and electromagnetic orbs that spin continuously, day and night.
The public can experience the full reveal of Alicia's work starting from September 4th.
Additional details, including Alicia's full statement and bio, can be found at www.hobartcity.com.au/InsideOUT.
