International star Timmy Trumpet joins Territory Day line-up

One of the world's top-ranked DJs is set to touch down in Darwin to spice up Territory Day festivities on August 29.

Timmy Trumpet was named among the top 10 DJs in the world by the UK's DJ Mag last year and will light up the stage at Mindil Beach at 7pm before the fireworks light up the sky from 8.15pm.

Aussie alt rock band Eskimo Joe remains part of the Darwin celebrations, and will be on stage from 5.45pm, until Timmy Trumpet takes over.

Territory pop-punk band Danger Den and Darwin songbird Emily Penny will complete the line-up on the Mindil Beach stage hosted by DJ/MC Hello Bass.

Territory Day celebrations kicks off from 4pm and will take place across the Territory.
