An investigation is underway after shots were fired in a street in western Sydney this morning.
Emergency services were called to Grove Place at Prospect after shots were heard about 12.15am (Monday 27 December 2021).
Police were told two vehicles attended the address when shots were fired from the driveway.
The vehicles were not damaged.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
With assistance from the Tactical Operations Unit, a search warrant was conducted at the address and police spoke to five occupants – three males and two females – who are assisting with inquiries.
There were no reports of injuries and no further information is available at this time.
