Investigation Continues Into Serious Crash At Marulan

Investigations are continuing into a single vehicle crash in the state's south earlier in the week.

About 12pm on Tuesday 7 January 2025, emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, Marulan, about 1.5km north of Winfarthing Road, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to the Hume Police District attended and found a van, which was travelling northbound, had left the roadway and rolled.

NSW Ambulance treated the driver, a 57-year-old man, for chest injuries. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.

A 37-year-old female passenger suffered leg injuries and was taken to Canberra Hospital.

A 12-year-old female passenger suffered hip injuries and lacerations and was taken to Westmead Hospital.

Two male passengers, aged 16 and 15, were also taken to Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.

Two other passengers, a 6-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy were taken to Westmead Children's Hospital with minor injuries.

Officers attached The Hume Police District with the assistance of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
