Investigations are underway into an armed robbery in Sydney's west.
About 7.35pm yesterday (Friday 28 May 2021), officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command responded to reports of an armed robbery at a convenience store on Morehead Avenue, Mt Druitt.
Police have been informed that a 24-year-old male staff member was serving a customer when three men wearing face coverings entered the store. One of the men produced a knife.
The men stole a sum of money from the cash register before running from the scene.
Neither the staff member nor customer were injured.
Officers established a crime scene and inquiries are continuing.
