About 11am, a fire started in bushland opposite The Escarpment in Willetton and quickly spread. The fire jumped Karel Ave into bushland opposite Mossman Crescent in Bull Creek.
The fire burnt three hectares of vegetation but was extinguished before it could spread to nearby homes and businesses.
Strike Force Vulcan officers urge anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the above area taken between 11am and 1pm, to upload the vision direct to them via the link:
