Police are investigating after a truck, carrying chickens, crashed down an embankment near Yass today, NSW Police say.
About 1.20am (Monday 2 April 2018), police have been told a semi-trailer travelling west on Burley Griffin Way, Bowning, left the roadway and rolled six metres down an embankment.
The vehicle came to rest in a paddock upside down.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was taken to Yass Hospital with minor injuries and will later undergo mandatory testing.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and have commenced an investigation.
