Police are appealing for information following a fatal crash near Bathurst today.
About 9.30am (Monday 6 December 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of the Great Western Highway and Brewongle Lane, Glanmire – approximately 16km east of Bathurst – following reports a Ford 'Ranger' and a motorcycle had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics assisted the male rider of the motorcycle; however, he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the vehicle – a 32-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to Bathurst Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Chifley Police District have established a crime scene and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
