Investigations Underway Into Shooting - Claymore

Police have commenced an investigation after two men were shot in Sydney's south west today.

About 9:30am (Saturday 3 August 2024), police were called to a shop in Claymore following reports a man – suffering injuries to his torso – had sought medical help.

A short time later, police were called to a reserve on Proctor Way, Claymore, after a man was located with gunshot wounds to his head and torso.

Both men were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

Police have established a crime scene and an investigation has begun.

Initial inquiries have led police to believe the incident was targeted.
