JACET Arrest In Northern Suburbs 2 July

Today Detectives from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team, a joint team between the South Australia Police and the Australian Federal Police arrested a northern suburbs man for online child sex offences.

About 10am Tuesday 2 July police arrested the 40-year-old man and charged him with two counts of possess child exploitation material and one count of disseminate child exploitation material. The man was bailed to appear at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 13 August.

Detective Senior Sergeant Graham Tomkins, from the Public Protection Branch said; "The sharing of child abuse videos and images is not a victimless crime. The South Australia Police alongside our partner agencies, are absolutely committed to prosecuting anyone who goes after our community's most vulnerable.
