The Hilltops Youth Action Group will present a jam packed line up of Youth Week 2021 celebrations.
The events are aimed at local youth aged between 12 and 24 years of age and are all free events, thanks to the support of the NSW Government.
Tuesday 13 April - Young (Gus Smith Oval) 6pm-8pm
Wednesday 14 April - Harden (McLean Oval) 6pm-8pm
Thursday 15 April - Boorowa (Recreation Park) 6pm-8pm
Screening the film 'I Still Believe' the true-life story of music star Jeremy Camp and his journey of love and loss that looks to prove there is always hope. This is a PG rated film and is a family event.
Tech Savvy Seniors
Friday April 16 - 10am-12noon at each Hilltops Council Library branch.
Where Seniors Week crosses over Youth Week. A fun event where Youth Technology Mentors from the Hilltops Youth Action Group will be available to help our seniors with all their technology questions. This event is aimed at seniors who would like help with technology such as setting up an email account, using Facebook and Instagram, Service NSW downloads, online reading, and all things tech related.
MADD Youth Show
Sunday 18 April - 12pm – 4pm at the Young Weir
A day filled with Youth Music, Art, Dance and Drama. We are calling for all Youth 12-25 to apply to either perform Music/Art/Dance/Drama/Entertainment.
Youth who would like to sell their products e.g. Scrunchies and artwork are able to have a market stall on the day outside the Marie McCormick Centre. We are also calling artists to present their artwork to show in the Gallery at the Marie McCormick Centre on the day.
The day will be filled with entertainment for all, including live performances from local youth on the main stage.
Game Time
Monday 19 April - 11am – 3pm at the PCYC Young
We are calling all High Schoolers to come along on the day for a fun filled huge game of dress up dodge ball. Base Zero rock-climbing will be there outside on the courts providing extra activities and the Rapid Relief Team will be hosting a free BBQ.
