James Wallace Selected Liberal Candidate For Hornsby

Liberal NSW

James Wallace is standing for the Liberals to ensure that the people of Hornsby have a strong voice in Parliament and someone that can deliver for the community.

Senior Associate at a leading national law firm, James has worked with major Australian companies in the technology, privacy and communication fields. Having grown up in the Hornsby Shire in North Epping, he has always believed in giving back to the community. Raising his two-year-old son Ben with his wife Sarah, James understands the challenges that many households face as house prices, rents, and cost-of-living pressures increase, while more strain is placed on the services we rely upon.

"I am humbled by the support of the Liberal Party and am determined to continue Matt Kean's hard work. We owe a great debt of gratitude to Matt for his years of service to both his local community and our state," Mr Wallace said.

"Over the coming weeks and months, I'll be working tirelessly throughout the community to win people's trust, and to hear directly from locals about the issues that are important to them."

James Wallace said people locally and across NSW are suffering because Labor has cut support for families and households during a cost-of-living crisis and handed over control of NSW to the unions.

"I'm determined to protect Hornsby's unique character and lifestyle, fight for more support for families and households, and to stand up against the Labor Government's cuts to schools, hospitals, and cost-of-living support."

"It's important that the people of NSW have a strong opposition that will hold the Labor Government to account, work to restore strong budget management, and ensure union influence doesn't take NSW backward."
