Congratulations to January's Kookaburra Volunteer of the Month

Corio Cricket Club's very own, Mitchell Grace, has been named Kookaburra Volunteer of the Month for January!

Nominated for the amount of sheer effort he puts into running Corio Cricket Club each and every week, Mitch serves as current Club President, Junior & Women's Coordinator, Turf Curator and Social Media Coordinator – talk about a man of many talents!

Nominated by his peers, Mitch spends 7 days a week at the club making sure everything is prepared for match days, with particular emphasis on Saturdays, where he will arrive bright and early at 6AM, before staying to turn the lights off at midnight.

Mitch's efforts over the past 8 years at Corio Cricket Club are highlighted by the continued success of Pink Stumps Day, raising over $13,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness. All this at just 25 years of age, shows his commitment to his club and community!

Mitch will take home a $200 Kookaburra Voucher for Corio Cricket Club, to help replenish equipment supplies in the lead up to the season's end!
