Residents and businesses in the Jindabyne area are reminded that road resealing works will be carried out on a number of streets across central Jindabyne this Saturday 13 April 2024, weather permitting.
The following streets are scheduled for resealing this weekend:
- Thredbo Terrace
- Park Road
- Bogong Street
- Ingebyra Street
- Munyang Street
- Gippsland Street
- Clyde Street
- Banjo Paterson Crescent
Work hours are between 6am and 6pm.
Residents and businesses are advised that all vehicles must be removed from the listed streets during this work. Resealing cannot occur in many cases when vehicles are parked on the street. Making alternative parking arrangement additionally protects vehicles from potential damage. Only on-street parking is affected.
Lane closures and traffic control will be in place while sealing is underway. Motorists should allow extra travel time and follow all traffic management instructions from contractors on site.
There may be short delays of up to 20 minutes at times when bitumen is being sprayed. Council is working closely with the contractor to minimise disruptions, however some delays will be unavoidable.
No full road closures are anticipated at this stage, and access for deliveries and local residents will be maintained even while work is underway.
Any streets listed above that are not resealed this weekend will be rescheduled for a later date, to be advised as soon as practicable.
This program of works is funded by Council as a part of our wider urban road renewal project, helping to futureproof the urban road network across the Snowy Monaro.
