The Pathways to Work expo this month will help young people in Hobsons Bay and surrounds take a step towards finding employment.
More than 70 exhibitors will be on display at the one-day free exhibition at Grazeland on Friday 26 July, which will be hosted by comedian and former Triple J presenter Lewis Hobba.
The exhibitors include a range of training and education providers, apprenticeship and trades programs, employment agencies, resume support and other service providers, local employers and youth services.
Four panel discussions will be held throughout the day, including on 'breaking down barriers', which will be presented by program partner, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, and held at 11.30am and 2pm.
Young people finding their way in the workforce or job seekers of any age will find useful tips, advice and information at the Pathways to Work expo.
Select food vendors will be open on the day, and there will be live music as job seekers make connections and develop pathways to finding work.
