The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) is looking for new Justice of the Peace volunteers in the Yarra Ranges area, with information sessions to be held over the coming month.

Justice of the Peace (JP) volunteers play an important part in the justice system, providing valuable and accessible authorised witnessing services to all members of the community.

DJCS will be hosting one-hour online information sessions, on Thursday, 29 June at 1pm and Thursday, 6 July at 6pm, to provide more detail about the role and give people the opportunity to meet JPs and staff from the Honorary Justice Services Support Team.

People of all cultural and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

You must attend an information session to proceed to the application and recruitment stages.

Registration is essential.
