On Monday 12 November families can join the team at the Kalkee Road Children's Hub for the Australian Reading Hour, an Australia-wide event which marks the end of 'Australia Reads', a 12 day celebration of reading.
Suitable for children aged 3 – 7 years old, the Kalkee Road event will feature live readings of picture books and songs. Teddy bears and pyjamas are welcome and children are encouraged to come with lots of energy to jump, jiggle, shout, stomp, wriggle and roar.
The Reading Hour Bedtime Storytime session will run from 6pm on the Monday night at Kalkee Road Children's and Community Hub. The session is free, but families must book to ensure social distancing requirements.
