Police and emergency services are at the scene of a crash between a grain truck and ute about 19km's east of Karoonda, according to SA Police.
The crash occurred just before 8am on Thursday 19 October on the Karoonda Highway.
The driver of the ute, a 65-year-old Murray Mallee man, was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre for observation but doesn't appear to have suffered any major injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
The Karoonda Highway is currently blocked with cars and semi-trailers being diverted along Sandalwood Road and Pilchera Bore Road. B-Doubles will be held until the road can be cleared which is expected to take several hours.
