A truck and vehicle collision in Katandra West on 7 February has turned fatal.
Investigators have been told a B-double truck and a Mazda collided near the intersection on Sidebottoms Road and Katandra Main Road just before 7.30pm.
The driver of the Mazda, a 75-year-old woman from Yabba North suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The 74-year-old female passenger from Penrith, NSW was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since died.
The driver of the truck, a 48-year-old Nyora man is assisting police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances of the incident are yet to be determined.
The investigation is ongoing.
