Rugby Australia is pleased to confirm Andrew Kellaway has re-signed until at least the end of 2026.
As part of his new contract, Kellaway will return to his hometown of Sydney and the NSW Waratahs from next year, reuniting with the club where he made his Super Rugby debut in 2016.
Wallaby number 943, Kellaway made his Test debut in 2021 against France, playing 14 of a possible 15 Tests and scoring nine tries in his first year of international Rugby, resulting in him being named Rugby Australia Rookie of the Year that season.
The 28-year-old has gone on to wear the gold jersey on 26 occasions and was part of the Wallabies leadership group at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The versatile outside back has taken the road less travelled in his professional Rugby journey.
A Hunters Hill junior, Kellaway was selected in the 2012 and 2013 Australian Schoolboys and then the Australian Under-20s in 2014 and 2015, captaining the side in the later year before making his Super Rugby debut with the Waratahs the following season.
Later that year he was selected as a development player on the Wallabies Spring Tour before back-to-back injuries in 2017 and 2018 slowed his momentum.
At the end of 2018 Kellaway left Australian shores to play in the UK Premiership with Northampton, followed by a stint with Counties Manakau in New Zealand before linking up with the Melbourne Rebels for the 2020 Super Rugby season.
At the end of 2020, Kellaway again left Australia for a season with the NEC Green Rockets in Japan, before settling in Melbourne in 202 and going on to make 50 appearances over his four seasons with the club.
