Police are currently attending a fatal collision in Kergunyah South this morning.
It is believed a car was traveling north on the Keiwa Valley highway when it left the roadway, struck a tree and rolled down an embankment.
The car was discovered shortly before 8.45am however it is unclear when the collision occurred.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a yet to be formally identified man, died prior to emergency services arriving at the scene.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash, anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
