Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Kialla this afternoon.
It is believed a car hit a tree on Mitchell Road at around 1.50pm.
Emergency services attended the scene, but the driver could not be revived.
Police are investigating whether the driver experienced a medical episode prior to the crash.
Victoria Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
