Kiara Armed Robbery

Midland Detectives are seeking the public's assistance for information as they continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, 11 January 2025 in Kiara.

About 8:20pm, a woman was walking along Morley Drive East and as she passed a fast-food chicken outlet, a man approached her demanding her phone. When she declined, he produced a knife. He threatened the woman with the knife before grabbing her backpack containing personal items.

A 42-year-old man from Northam has been charged with Armed Robbery and will appear in court later this month.
