From 3 October 2024, Lost and Found: Stories of sanctuary and belonging, a new season from King's Culture, will explore the importance of safe spaces, compassion, and changes to the way we perceive our fellow human's needs.

Featuring free events across the newly pedestrianised Strand and in King's College London, Lost & Found will investigate themes including migration, home and belonging, security, personal sanctuary, and hope for the future.

Lost & Found: Stories of sanctuary and belonging has grown from a desire to explore pressing themes around sanctuary, including how society has travelled through, and continues to navigate challenging times in recent years, and ways in which we can feel safe, connected and have a sense of home. Working with academics, researchers and students across King's and connecting to artists and creative partners, we hope to offer an eclectic and fascinating insight into some of the key areas of research from across the university, and connect these to extraordinary creative experiences.'

Alison Duthie, Director of Programming, King's Culture

Lost & Found: Stories of sanctuary and belonging has been developed through collaborations between King's Culture, researchers, creative partners and practitioners, policy professionals and people with lived experience.
