King's has launched a new Career Accelerator Programme in UX Design, in partnership with digital education company FourthRev, with applications now open.
A new programme in user experience (UX) Design – developed within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities and in partnership with Fourthrev - follows the launch of the first Career Accelerator course in Product Management in July 2022.
UX design is now critical to business success in the online marketplace – not only to improve customer satisfaction but to curate meaningful and engaging experiences with digital products and services at the point of contact with consumers.
However, there is a growing gap between the demand for these roles and the supply of people with the right skill set.

The programme was developed using the expertise of the Department of Digital Humanities and will help students develop the interpersonal skills required to effectively work with engineers to create digital products and services that add value to customers' lives.

The 6 month online programme offers a unique model that consists of three courses and an employer project, blending the academic rigour of university education with industry experience through the input of partners such as Creative Navy, Mailchimp, Dropbox, Linktree and Atlassian to ensure learning reflects employer demand and offering 1:1 career coaching throughout.
