Brisbane City police have charged a man who was allegedly in possession of a knife at a bus station in Brisbane City yesterday, November 18.
Police were called to Roma Street around 2.30pm following reports of a man armed with a knife.
The man allegedly took the sheathed 30cm hunting knife out of his waistband and dropped it on the ground following orders from police.
No threats were made by the man towards any member of the public or towards police.
Police have charged an 18-year-old Tarragindi man with one count of possess knife in a public place.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, November 20.
