Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Kununurra yesterday, Thursday 16 June 2022.
About 5.15pm, a female pedestrian was struck by a white Isuzu D-Max utility on Konkerberry Drive near the intersection of Banksia Street.
The pedestrian, a 38-year-old woman received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Kununurra Hospital where she later died.
The driver of the utility, a 52-year-old man, was not injured.
Major Crash investigators are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or the Isuzu D-Max utility or the female pedestrian in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
