Police are now in a position to release the name of the man who died in a single motorcycle crash on Kurow-Duntroon Road/ SH 83 on Friday 8 August.
He was 62-year-old Johannes Lodewicus Myburg from Timaru.
Police would like to extend our condolences to his loved ones.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing.
