Labor Rolling In Tainted CFMEU Cash

Eric Abetz, Minister for Business, Industry and Resources

Opposition Leader, Dean Winter, has failed yet another leadership test as he remains silent on whether he will repay tainted donations made to Tasmanian Labor by the CFMEU.

Dean Winter has had every chance to direct the Party to return any money given by the union over the years but has squibbed it.

The union has funnelled massive donations into state Labor coffers, and it now must repay the tainted money.

If they won't, Mr Winter must explain why not?

And what has Labor done with the hundreds of thousands of dollars gifted to the party from the powerful construction union which has been placed into administration following allegations of criminality?

Mr Winter failed to call out the former Union leader for his outrageous threat to Tasmanian jobs.

And he clearly doesn't have the guts to intervene because he knows Labor is beholden to the rogue union and its tainted donations.

His continued silence on repaying the donations shows how weak Mr Winter is, and begs the question, who does Mr Winter really answer to?
