Labor Wants Tourism And Hospitality Funding Slashed

Tasmanian Government

Labor and Dean Winter have no credibility when it comes to tourism, hospitality, and small business in Tasmania.

Labor has made it abundantly clear that they are no friend of these key industries, after recently calling critical investment into Tasmania's small businesses "reckless".

Labor wants us to cut funding to small business and tourism.

They described critical marketing campaigns that drive visitation to Tasmania as "puff and promotion" in a blatant display of his disregard for homegrown jobs.

Small business keeps our economy strong, and employs thousands of Tasmanians, allowing families to pay their mortgages and put food on the table.

We are the strongest supporters of small businesses. We have slashed red tape across Government. If there's more red tape to be slashed, we will do it.

Under Labor – it's clear small business would be abandoned.

Tasmania's business owners are optimistic about the future and attacks on them by Labor are outrageous.

Labor has not changed; they are anti jobs and anti-economic growth.

Dean Winter's plan to slash the Government's investment in these vital sectors should send a shiver down the spine of the thousands of people it employs.

Our government will continue to back in businesses and jobs across our regions by supporting operators to grow and diversify.
