Lake Burley Griffin Water Quality Monitoring
Lake Burley Griffin water quality monitoring has commenced for the 2024-25 recreational season.
The monitoring, undertaken in accordance with ACT Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality, ensures the community has up-to-date information and as many people as possible can enjoy using the lake.
The results inform guidance to the public on use of the lake and are published on www.nca.gov.au and the Swim Guide website - www.theswimguide.org - each Friday by 4:00pm.
Weekly monitoring will continue until the close of the recreational season in April 2025.
