Lake Macquarie Armed Robbery: Police Seek Leads

An investigation is underway following an armed robbery at a business in Lake Macquarie yesterday afternoon.

About 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 25 March 2025), police were called to a licensed premises on Ntaba Rd, Jewells, following reports of a robbery.

At the scene, police were told a man threatened bar staff with a broken glass bottle before leaving the premises with cash from the registers.

No injuries were reported by the employees.

Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District established a crime scene and inquiries into the incident are underway.
