Before this year's state election, the Jacqui Lambie Network promised it would deliver transparency and accountability. It had no other policies.
On Thursday, Senator Jacqui Lambie issued a stunning press release, calling for the immediate resignation of Deputy Premier Michael Ferguson.
Senator Lambie couldn't have been clearer. She called Michael Ferguson "incompetent", "ineffective" and accused him of sacking the chair of TT-Line to keep the truth about the Spirits scandal hidden from Tasmanians.
Senator Lambie said her "demands" for Mr Ferguson to resign were due to the need for accountability, just as she had promised voters her party would deliver.
What have we seen in the three days since from her three state MPs? Silence.
The Jacqui Lambie Network MPs are refusing to say whether they back their leader's calls for accountability, or whether they back Michael Ferguson.
They are not being transparent about where they stand, and so far they have refused to back their leader's "demands" for accountability.
It's a massive broken promise from the Jacqui Lambie Network.
And as Senator Lambie looks to expand her party across the country, the broken promises from her Tasmanian MPs will also rightly leave voters questioning whether she will actually deliver what she promises.
