There is just over a week left to see our spectacular Floating Christmas Tree before it is towed out of Corio Bay, dismantled and put into storage.
The tree's sound and light shows run every 15 minutes each night from 8:30pm to midnight, lasting for six minutes, with the last day being Orthodox Christmas Day on Tuesday 7 January 2025.
The final sound and light display kicked in on Boxing Day. Don't forget that you can control the colours of the tree and star between shows through our interactive Christmas website .
Australia's largest floating Christmas tree stands at 25 metres tall, featuring 800 lights, more than 15,000 pixels to create animations and 30 new digital windows.
It took 20 people at Hanlon Industries, Total Events and Elstone Diving Services to assemble the 14-tonne tree over six weeks in North Geelong.
Our heartwarming Christmas projections light up City Hall for the last time on Saturday 4 January from dusk until midnight. The display celebrates and encourages kindness, inspired by 60 local children from Meli kindergartens.
