After completing the survey Corinne said, "participating in the Business Insights Survey is a great opportunity to voice the challenges and successes we've experienced over the past year and especially post-COVID.
"I appreciate that the Council is taking the time to listen to local businesses like mine, and I'm confident that the results will lead to positive changes. By sharing feedback, experiences and ideas, we can work together to implement and take action which will not only help local businesses, but the community as a whole.
"It's important local government and other organisations who support the area listen and keep their finger on the pulse with what is happening on the ground for business owners." Corrine said local businesses play a huge role in the heart and soul of the local community.
"They often support local organisations, sporting groups, employ locals, support locals and love their communities. It's so important the Council and locals support locals, to help keep our community established for future generations."
"The survey was quick and easy to complete, and it feels good to know that my input will contribute to making our business community stronger." Businesses can also win a prize for participating this year - a $1,000 video production prize, with local videographer, Heidi Banas Creative.
The survey is open to all businesses and can be accessed online until 5pm, 28 August 2024 at yoursay.surfcoast.vic.gov.au/business-survey.
Council will release the survey results in spring on the Surf Coast Business Collective Facebook page and in the Business Newsletter.
