North Richmond Bridge on Bells Line of Road and Yarramundi Bridge on Springwood Road are closed due to flooding.
Eastbound lanes on Newbridge Road at Chipping Norton have reopened after being closed between Governor Macquarie Drive and Henry Lawson Drive, however westbound lanes remain closed.
Other roads remain closed including:
- Audley Weir in the Royal National Park
- Douglas Park Causeway at Douglas Park
- Menangle Bridge at Menangle
- Wakehurst Parkway between Narrabeen and Oxford Falls
- Oxford Falls Road at Oxford Falls
- Galston to Hornsby Heights: Galston Road
In addition to state managed roads, some local roads managed by councils may also be affected.
Motorists are also advised to exercise extreme care and never drive through floodwaters.
Motorists who need to travel are advised to allow extra time and follow the directions of emergency services or traffic crews.
