Melbourne, Victoria - First Pivot is pleased to announce that the first ever Victorian Interschool Pitch Competition will be hosted by Lauriston Girls' School. The competition is scheduled to take place on June 16th, 2023, and will bring together students from eight local schools to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and compete for prizes.
"There has been a significant increase in interest among students to be entrepreneurs, and this competition provides a great opportunity for them to develop and showcase their skills," said Jim Schuman, CEO of First Pivot. "We believe that this competition will be a great opportunity for primary school students to gain valuable experience and be a stage where they can showcase solutions to problems that they want to solve."
The event will be hosted on the campus of Lauriston Girls' School, which has a long-standing reputation for fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and preparing students for a changing world. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of judges consisting of business experts, investors, and entrepreneurs.
