Lawler Ministry to Build Territory's Future

Today, Chief Minister Eva Lawler has announced a new Cabinet team, with the main focus of building the Territory's future.

The Territory's Cabinet leans on experience, fresh ideas and expertise which will continue to grow our economy, curb the cost of living and keep Territorians safe.

Chief Minister Eva Lawler will continue to serve as a job creating and cost of living curbing Treasurer, Minister for Territory Development, and adds Defence Industries, Industry and Trade and Major Projects to her portfolio.

There is a new appointment into Cabinet.

Member for Fong Lim Mark Monaghan will be tasked in making sure our children are going to school and our classrooms are supported as being Minister for Education. He will also be tasked with the Mining, Agribusiness and Fisheries portfolios.

In an effort to keep curbing anti-social behaviour and crime, Brent Potter will take on the Alcohol Policy portfolio.

Selena Uibo picks up the Health and Mental Health and Suicide Prevention portfolios as we work to make sure that our urban and remote areas are receiving the health services they need.
